I learned that I'm an idiot and finally figured out that if you accidentally hit the ginormous, red kill switch in the wrong direction, the bike won't start at all, until you reverse the switch to the "run" position. Self-discovery is just the worst journey if you don't have friends...*chagrin-face

Installed new center stand on my Scram 411 today; the extra weight is absolutely worth the convenience of being able to stand it up for maintenance wherever I am.

Started my first service, got the oil changed this evening, tomorrow is valve check/adjust, spark plug, brake pad inspection, tightening all bolts, checking cables...and all the other stuff in the giant checklist in the manual. So nice to be able to work on my own bike again!

Creating a lot of video documentation for warranty, plan to upload a few to YouTube. Not a lot of US-based service videos out there for the Scram.

Have put on a lot of new parts as well, with more inbound.

Installed a throttle lock last night for those longer rides.

I've been thinking about doing the same, would be nice to be able to give the old paw a break on the highway sometimes. Pretty easy install?
