Sometimes screen on tripper is in a dark mode sometimes it's in a bright white mode. How I select the screen I want?
The bright white mode is too bright for night time riding

I am thinking about the tripper on my 350,how do you like it other than the brightness issue?i am using a nuvi garmin plugged into the USB,works great but the tripper looks pretty cool too.

Yes I like it—easy to use and works well—-I just have a learning curve on my end

Did you ever figure out how to switch the background color? Mine also changes seemingly randomly, and the white background is blinding at night. I've got a RAM mount on my neck bolt and just adjust my Garmin Zumo to cover it up when I'm riding at night, but that's a little silly. Hoping that there's some setting in the RE app on the phone or something, otherwise it seems a little janky.

Yes and no You have to always have your phone synced to the tripper then there’s a setting to turn to nighttime mode but I don’t always have my phone, so I took a 2” pvc pipe cap painted it black and just covered tripper up when not in use
