Pilot light

Hi. I've owned my interceptor for a while now. I've not yet covered 1000km. So far I'm really impressed with the bike. However, yesterday I noticed that the LED pilot light had disintegrated, with the parts rattling around in the headlamp. I was rather disapointed that Royal Enfield will not replace this under warranty.

I was wondering if anybody else has had a similar problem?

Light bulbs are not covered by many manufacturers ..... Vibration is the main culprit , Our dealership would hand you a new bulb , for the first 90 days ... After that , on your own ....

Hi Bweightmaster
The Pilot light is an LED unit. The LED still works it's the plastic lens that has destructed. It's in several parts at the bottom of the headlamp. I can't see how this is not a manufacturing defect. The bike is less than 90 days old. The part is quite expensive for what it is. I'm curious about other similar failures. I don't want to waste my money on a replacement that will fail again in a few months.
