Hi, my name is Mike and I reside in sunny Florida. I finally changed direction and dove into the Cafe Racer thing. I've been a sportbike guy forever and recently got into ADV biking. The cafe racer bikes have always had my attention. I purchased a new 2022 650 and plan on doing lots of mods. This thing is no comparison to my former superbike, but riding is is a hoot!! That, and felony speeds on the street aren't likely. Looking forward to enjoying this community!

That's the same color as mine.
So far I changed levers, turn signals, and put on bar end mirrors. Such an awesome and fun bike.
Next is an exhaust. I'm torn between the TEC 2 to 1 Stinger and the MK Designs Bopper. Any thoughts?
What did you do to the tail section? Looks great. I wanted to chop mine, but at my wife's request, she likes the bar on the rear like what you have. What you have is the compromise I'm considering.

this is what I did to the rear. Also, here are some pics of what I used. As soon as I got the mufflers I unpacked them. I will probably shorten the rear hoop later. I just changed the turn signals again. Still not 100 percent what I want but they‘re bette. I don’t have any pics of those yet. I didn’t like the tail light in the pic with the bracket, it wasn’t bright enough. The LED one from Lowbrow is really bright. I welded the bracket I fabbed to the rear hoop. All the other stuff was just for clamping. I also went with Lowbrows Flying Monkey grips. I used a gasket punch set I have to punch a 1” hole in the end. I have bought a bunch of stuff from Lowbrow in the past for my Sportys. If they have I will always get it from them.

What levers did you use? My next mod will most likely be changing the triple tree from the int 650, using the S&S bar clamps and a set of Biltwell low trackers or drag bars. I want to keep the look but the stock clip on are a little low for me. My hands start going numb from holding myself up.

Man, nice work! Thanks for all the info. I'll definitely be checking out Lowbrow Customs. Baxter Cycles also looks like a good place to get RE aftermarket stuff.
The levers I purchased are nothing special. Very inexpensive but more comfortable than stock.

Funny you mentioned Baxter. I just found the website last night. Hanks for the info.
