After much deliberations and research, I bought a 2021 Continental GT with 2500 miles today. It had been immaculately taken care of and garage kept, I couldn’t be happier. I ridden motorcycles for over 40 years and currently own 5, but I can honestly say that this new Royal Enfield has sparked a new fire in my heart. It reminds of riding sport bikes in the 80’s and is surprising comfortable. I picked it up just south of Cincinnati Ohio and rode it home 420 miles mostly in the rain, I can say that after that far it will definitely be my next Ironbutt ride this spring.

Welcome to the forum @sheriffguybuck and congrats on getting your Continental GT! What other bikes were you considering before you made your decision?

Other than the TEC Stinger exhaust, are you planning to get any other modifications and/or accessories for it? What do you think about the factory seat, is it comfortable enough?

So I installed the stinger today, very happy with the sound and it does seem a little more responsive. I did the DNA air filter and plate install at the same time. The seat seems fine, admittedly it was a little rough in the 450 mile ride but for normal daily ride I don’t think you could complain. I have a tall windshield ordered and that will probably be it for a bit.

I was looking at the Interceptor and the Continental GT and just liked the riding pos on the GT. Reminded me of my sport bike days from the 80’s.

Beautiful bike. He's a pic of my Interceptor. I have the touring seat on mine. It helps on the longer rides.
