As I purchased a Canyon Red 2022 Int650 a few months ago, I've modified it to my liking. I thought I'd share the changes if anyone is interested.
The first thing was to replace the entire exhaust system with TEC headers and Powerage stainless silencers. Besides making the bike sound sexy, it saved probably 25-30 lbs. At that time I changed the air filter with a K&N, and secured it with 3 fender washers to replace the restrictive stock cover. I removed several unneeded items like the centerstand, passenger grab rail, lift handle, and passenger footpegs. Another few lbs lighter. I also replaced the stock shocks with YSS Top Line adjustable units. Much better and lighter. I added an EMGO 1/4 fairing, handlebar risers, R.E. Touring mirrors, quality knee pads, and upgraded the standard bar levers with adjustable TEC types. I also added some high quality panniers from Hepco Becker. The final change I made was a R.E. Premium Touring Seat with a injection molded passenger cover.
The Interceptor is now a superior handling, clean fueling, more comfortable ride that still costs less than a compatible Triumph, the Street Twin.
