Int 650 battery terminal pigtail

I found the battery terminal pigtail (useful for connecting battery maintainer) on the Int 650 by accident. I had no idea it was there until I removed side covers and looked at the terminals. It was not exposed. Does everyone know about this?

Could be just an add on ..., All my bikes with batteries have them , even my trucks that just sit most of the time , and my lawn tractors ....,

Yeah, I always put them on, they're so useful. Mine must have been installed during dealer prep. I was in the process of adding a set when I found them already there. Nice surprise. Anyway, I mention it because others could have them and not know. You have to remove the seat and find them. I didn't see anything in the owners manual about it.

My local dealer puts them on every bike they sell.
