Well, that kind of goes against my experience with my last five motorcycles, four of them bought new. If there's a problem with liability why do all the other manufacturers and dealers provide them withouit restriction? I have bought them for all five of my motorcyles and they are usually $100 - $150. Yes that is expensive, but the savings from one service alone could easily pay for the manual. When I took my first bike (Kawasaki ZR7S) in for it's first valve adjustment the mechanic failed to replace the valve cover gasket, causing an oil leak. I took the bike back and demanded they correct it at no charge. Since that experience, I have done all my own work. As the old saying goes, if you want it done right, do it yourself (assuming you know what you're doing)!
